Jeff Rubin, the Antarctic Editor of The Polar Times and author of the "Due South" column, is a vice president of the American Polar Society.
The author of the travel guide Antarctica (Lonely Planet Publications, 1996, 2000 & 2005), he lectures frequently about the history and politics of Antarctica, both aboard Antarctic tour ships and on dry land.
