APS YOUNG EXPLORERS

One of the purposes of the American Polar Society is to encourage today's youth and young adults to form an interest in the polar regions.

This is just one step our organization can take to ensure that the future will hold a selection of individuals who will care about the state of the Arctic, Antarctic and their surrounds in the years to come. In fact, such interest and attention from our future scientists and technicians may directly impact the well-being of the entire globe in their lifetime. Now is the time to encourage such interest.

If you would like to contribute your expertise to this program in any way or have suggestions about steps we may take to teach today's burgeoning scientists not only of the importance of such study, but also the great personal satisfaction, adventure and fun there is to be found in the "icy climes," please contact the American Polar Society president.
